The Bosch Rexroth Indramat RKL0015 is part of the RKL Motor Power Cables series and serves as a factory-terminated power lead for synchronous and asynchronous motors used in automated production lines. By combining series-specific shielding and conductor cross-sections, the cable carries drive output power and ground to the motor with low impedance. Its role is to streamline cabinet wiring, reduce installation errors, and maintain electromagnetic compatibility inside motion-control equipment. It is used where motors must receive a consistent power connection while surrounding equipment operates in electrically noisy industrial environments.
As a Ready-Made assembly, the cable is supplied cut to length and jacketed, so installers are not required to crimp or solder individual cores. It is identified as a Power Cable, so its conductors are used for motor phase and ground currents rather than signal transmission. At the motor end, a keyed RLS1101 plug mates with Rexroth housings, while the inverter side uses the matching RLS0745 connector with bayonet locking. The keyed layout helps prevent incorrect orientation during mating and keeps the connection pattern consistent across compatible Rexroth motor cable interfaces. The Basic configuration code indicates standard PVC insulation for dry industrial areas. The cable has a dynamic bend radius of 7.5 x D, allowing it to move in energy chains without excessive stress on the insulation or conductors.
Service life in constantly moving axes is supported by a rated cycle endurance of 5,000,000 flexing strokes, so the cable can operate through long production shifts without conductor fatigue. When equipment is parked, a static bend radius of 5 x D applies, which helps prevent kinks during fixed routing. The stated flexing life and bend limits support both moving cable-carrier sections and stationary routing between cabinet exits and motor terminals. The cable can operate from 80 °C down to -30 °C, and the same limits apply during storage. This temperature range supports use near drive cabinets, chillers, and unheated storage areas without placing unusual demands on the cable jacket.
