RKL0013 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL0013 cable is a flexible motor power lead supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links servo drives to their motors in automated machinery, carrying both power and low-level control signals in one jacket. The construction supports constant motion inside energy-chain assemblies, allowing the cable to maintain electrical integrity while delivering the current demanded by compact servo actuators used in packaging lines, gantries, and material-handling cells. Combining motor power and auxiliary conductors in one jacket also helps keep moving cable runs organized where space is limited around machine axes.

The core material follows the INK0670 bulk cable type, a halogen-free composite that balances flexibility with mechanical strength. In dynamic energy-chain service, the sheath withstands up to 5 million bending cycles before conductor fatigue becomes critical. The cable is designed for drag-chain routing, so repetitive travel can occur without jacket cracking. During motion, the conductors may curve to a minimum dynamic radius of 7.5 × D, while static installations may use a 5 × D bend. The cable also supports carriage acceleration up to 10 m/s² without exceeding strain limits on the copper strands. At the drive end, a molded RLS0745/K01 connector provides keyed attachment to compatible controllers.

Internally, the cable separates power and signal conductors to limit crosstalk. The supply bundle contains 4 cores, each with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², sized to carry phase currents typical of compact synchronous motors. A separate signal pair uses 2 cores of 0.5 mm² for enable or brake commands from the drive. Both groups terminate in the INS0751/C01 motor plug, which provides consistent shielding continuity and strain relief at the motor housing. This conductor separation helps the auxiliary signals remain stable during repeated starts, stops, and direction changes.
