RKL0011 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL0011 cable assembly is a motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is supplied as a ready-to-install connection between drive controllers and synchronous motors, combining power and auxiliary conductors in one sheath. This arrangement simplifies routing through machine frames and energy chains while supporting dependable power delivery in packaging, handling, and machining equipment. Its single-sheath design also helps reduce cable clutter around motors and drive cabinets where space is limited.

The assembly is manufactured from bulk cable type INK0602. Each power core has a cross-section of 2.5 mm², and the cable also includes shielded auxiliary pairs for brake or sensor circuits. Conductor resistance is 7.98 ?/km at 20 °C, which helps limit voltage drop over normal installation lengths. The overall sheath diameter is 14.8 mm, so the cable fits standard strain-relief hardware and drag-chain separators. In fixed installation, the minimum bend radius is 5 × D, which helps protect the conductors from damage during routing. The combined power and auxiliary layout reduces the need for separate cable runs and helps keep moving assemblies organized.

The motor side terminates with an RLS1201 connector, and the inverter side uses an RLS0721 connector for direct connection to compatible equipment. During dynamic motion, the cable supports a minimum bend radius of 7.5 × D, allowing repeated flexing in moving axes and gantry systems. Its capacitance is 0.7 nF/m, which helps reduce reactive current effects in the drive system. A matte, adhesion-free PUR jacket in orange improves visibility inside machine enclosures while resisting oils and weld spatter. The jacket surface also helps the cable move smoothly through carriers during continuous travel.
