RKL0010 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL0010 cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It routes power and auxiliary conductors between a servo drive and its matched motor in automated machinery. By combining pre-molded power and signal cores in a single sheath, the assembly shortens installation time and maintains consistent electrical characteristics during continuous-duty operation. Using one cable assembly also reduces separate routing paths for motor power and auxiliary circuits inside the machine. That integrated layout can also help keep the wiring path more orderly on axes with limited space between the drive cabinet and the motor.

The cable is rated for a service life of 5,000,000 cycles in moving-chain applications, making it suitable for high-duty linear axes. An outside diameter of 12.2 mm affects tray width and clamp sizing, while the cabinet interface uses an RLS1201 angled plug and the motor side terminates in an RLS0722 straight plug. The cable remains functional down to -20 °C during dynamic motion and up to +40 °C in fixed routing, and its copper strands are rated for 80 °C under flexible loading so thermal stress stays within normal operating limits.

A dual-pair signal bundle of 2x(2x0.75 mm²)StC runs beside the power cores to carry brake or temperature-sensor circuits, and the shielding helps reduce crosstalk. For cable movement, the minimum dynamic bend radius is 7.5xD, while fixed installation allows a tighter bend of 5xD inside enclosures or cable ducts. Its halogen-free jacket limits corrosive gas release during overheating and is suitable for applications that prioritize cleaner behavior in enclosed equipment. This layout supports use in energy chains, vertical cable carriers, and compact control cabinets where repeated flexing and controlled routing are required.
