The RKH0902 is a pre-assembled power-and-signal lead produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKH Hybrid Cables series. This component links MS2N motors to IndraDrive controllers, carrying encoder feedback and three-phase supply inside one sheath to simplify wiring in automated machines. By combining functions, the cable reduces cabinet routing space and shortens installation time in production cells, conveyor modules, and gantry axes that need coordinated motion. Using one outer sheath also helps keep moving cable paths organized where space is limited around machine joints and cable tracks. In industrial automation, its role is to ensure reliable transmission of drive energy together with digital feedback so closed-loop control remains accurate during continuous operation.

The cable is rated for 5,000,000 cycles of bending life when it is moved in an energy chain. For mobile axes, the minimum dynamic bend radius is 10xD, meaning ten times the outer diameter must be maintained to avoid conductor fatigue, while stationary fixtures use a 5xD static radius. As a ready-made harness, the conductors are crimped and overmolded, eliminating field terminations and the variability they introduce. The hybrid cable design places the copper power cores and shielded encoder conductors inside one jacket, which helps limit electromagnetic crosstalk while still fitting inside a single drag-chain-rated sleeve. This arrangement carries power and feedback together without requiring separate parallel leads between the axis and the drive.

The cable supports continuous service from -40 to +80 °C, and the same range applies during storage. That temperature tolerance supports both cold-start machinery and high-temperature enclosures, and it also keeps stored spare cables within the same allowable range. The motor end uses the keyed circular connector RHS2322, whereas the controller end is fitted with the compact RHS0011, allowing plug-in replacement without stripping insulation. Within the series, the cable uses the Basic model designation, which indicates a standard sheath material and conductor cross-section for mainstream servo sizes.
