Bosch Rexroth Indramat produces the RKH0901 cable assembly, part of the RKH Hybrid Cables series. This flexible, ready-to-install assembly combines power conductors, control pairs, and feedback cores in one sheath, allowing a single routing path between an IndraDrive controller and its matching servo motor. Using one outer jacket keeps the connected circuits together along the same cable run. By consolidating circuits, the cable reduces panel clutter, shortens installation time, and maintains shielding integrity for high-frequency industrial automation environments.

The expected life of the RKH0901 under constant flexing is 5,000,000 bending cycles, a value intended for drag-chain use where motion is repetitive and bidirectional. When the carrier is in motion, the jacket may curve no tighter than 10xD; once stationary, the static limit relaxes to 5xD to help prevent conductor fatigue while the cable is clamped in place. An angled RHS2321 connector on the drive side and a straight RHS0011 connector on the motor side provide keyed, splash-proof terminations that lock without additional tools. The different connector orientations support routing at the cabinet end and direct entry at the motor end. Because this is the basic cable model, conductor grouping and shielding follow the standard pattern for combined DC link, encoder, and auxiliary power transmission over a single line.

As a ready-made harness, the assembly is supplied as a complete cable set rather than loose bulk wire. Its designation as the hybrid cable version means no separate feedback lead is required between the drive and motor. The polyurethane jacket tolerates ambient lows of -40 °C and continuous service highs of 80 °C, and the same limits apply during storage. This range supports use in chilled production areas as well as warm operating spaces where repeated axis movement is common. The single-cable layout also helps keep routing simpler on gantry axes, packaging articulators, and delta robots that cycle throughout the workday.
