RKH0900 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the RKH0900 in the RKH Hybrid Cables series. This cable combines power conductors with encoder feedback lines so one cable run can deliver energy and position data to a servo motor. That arrangement reduces the number of separate cables between the drive and motor and helps keep routing compact in distributed drive layouts. In servo systems that use hybrid motor connections, it also reduces the number of termination points along the machine.

The cable is supplied in a ready-made configuration, eliminating field crimping or soldering. A service life of 5 million flex cycles supports continuous-motion cable chains on pick-and-place axes. Its conductor set combines power and encoder circuits within one jacket, which helps limit interference between electrical functions while keeping the harness compact. Mechanical stress during travel is controlled by a dynamic bend radius of 10 × D, and the insulation remains suitable across an operating range of -40 to 80 °C. This layout keeps supply and feedback paths together during repeated motion, which simplifies cable management on moving axes. The cable has a Basic design classification, so the outer sheath does not include added armor or drag-chain crossbars and can remain lighter for moving applications.

The wiring concept is identified as hybrid, matching drive families that combine DC bus, control voltage, and encoder cores under one connector shell. Factory-installed plug sets simplify installation because the drive side terminates in an RHS2321 connector and the motor side uses an RHS2322 connector, with keyed housings to help prevent polarity reversal. For stationary routing inside a cabinet door swing, the cable can rest at a minimum loop of 5 × D without kinking the jacket. This helps the cable fit compact fixed paths where the assembly does not travel in an energy chain.
