RKH0511 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKH0511 is a hybrid cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKH Hybrid Cables series. It combines power conductors and signal pairs in one sheath, so a drive controller and servo axis can be linked with a single cable assembly instead of separate power and feedback leads. This layout reduces the number of panel exits and cable-tray paths, and it helps keep routing organized in automated machinery where motion and communication lines must travel together. Using one outer jacket also simplifies cable handling in machines with limited space around drag chains, motor mounts, and cabinet entries.

For dynamic service in energy chains, the cable is rated for 5,000,000 flexing cycles. During motion, the minimum bending radius is 10 × D, which helps protect the internal strands from sharp deformation, while fixed installation permits a tighter bend of 5 × D after routing is complete. The drive-side connector is RHS0005, and the motor-side connector is RHS0016. These factory-terminated, keyed connectors support correct mating, preserve shield continuity, and reduce the chance of wiring mistakes at the cable ends. The connector pairing is suited to preassembled routing between the control cabinet and the moving axis.

Continuous operation is permitted up to 80 °C, which allows the cable to run near warm motor housings without premature insulation aging. Low-temperature flexibility extends down to -40 °C, so the jacket can still bend during startup in unheated spaces or outdoor gantry installations. The cable also tolerates storage across a wide temperature range without cracking or flattening when it is kept out of service. It can be stocked before installation without the jacket becoming brittle or permanently deformed. This mix of thermal tolerance and motion capability suits servo applications where the same cable must carry supply power and stable signal paths through repeated machine cycles.
