The Bosch Rexroth Indramat RKH0421 is a pre-assembled member of the RKH Hybrid Cables series. Within the series, it uses the basic cable model for standard wiring layouts in automated machinery. The assembly carries the conductors needed to link motion or control components through one cable. Using one cable assembly can reduce the number of separate runs that pass through moving machine sections, which helps keep routing more orderly in compact equipment. This is useful where cable carriers, servo axes, or articulated machine modules leave limited space for separate assemblies.

It withstands 5,000,000 bending cycles, a fatigue rating that supports continuous carrier use without conductor breakage. During movement, the minimum dynamic bend radius is 8xD, so cable chains must maintain at least eight times the outer diameter to avoid excessive stress. In fixed installation, the minimum bend radius is 4xD, which allows tighter routing in enclosed spaces. The different bend limits separate moving carrier applications from stationary cable runs, so routing can match the way each machine section operates. The permitted service temperature range is -40 to 80 °C, supporting use in both cold areas and heated enclosures. Because the assembly is supplied as a ready-made cable, no field termination is required and connection work is simplified.

This product is a Hybrid Cable that combines power and data conductors in one sheath. Power and signal pins terminate with connector RHS0008 on one end and RHS0021 on the other end, and the keyed interfaces help maintain correct connection orientation. The assembly uses raw cable type REH0803, which provides the conductor arrangement and material set used for this cable.
