RKH0401 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKH0401 hybrid cable belongs to the RKH Hybrid Cables series from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It combines power cores and signal pairs in a single jacket so that servo drives and feedback devices can be linked through one line inside automated machinery. The cable is intended for moving installations, especially in cable tracks, where continuous flexing requires high mechanical endurance and stable electrical performance.

The hybrid design uses an outer diameter of 16.2 mm, which helps with conduit sizing and clamp selection. Inside that envelope, the conductor set follows a 5×2.5 + 5×0.34 + (2×2×0.34) mm² layout that separates power, auxiliary voltage, and twisted-pair signal lines to limit crosstalk. For the power conductors, the cable can carry up to 2×25 A; 2×15 A, supporting circuits with different current demands. A PUR jacket protects the cores from cutting fluids and abrasion while remaining flexible at low temperatures. Mechanical reliability is supported by a flex life of 5,000,000 cycles, indicating how many strokes the cable can perform in a defined track without conductor failure.

Field assembly is supported by the inline coupler REH0800, which joins two cable sections without disrupting shielding. The factory-fitted left-end plug RHS0005/C03 and right-end plug RHS0001/C03 provide the correct pinout for Rexroth servo systems and avoid manual termination work. During motion, the cable may bend down to a radius of 10×AD, while stationary routing permits 5×AD so minimum loop lengths can be calculated for both conditions. A diameter tolerance of ±0.5 mm supports repeatable gland sealing, and the cable is confirmed for cable-track use. The jacket contains no halogens or silicone, which reduces corrosive gas release during fire and helps prevent contamination in clean production areas.
