RKH0311 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKH0311 is a finished motion-grade cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the RKH Hybrid Cables series. It is intended to link an IndraDrive or comparable controller to a servo motor while traveling inside an energy chain or robot axis. By combining power conductors with encoder wires inside one sheath, the product reduces component count and helps keep electrical noise low when space and EMI margins are tight in automated assembly or material-handling equipment. This layout is also useful on compact axes where separate power and feedback cables would add bulk and increase bending stress in the carrier.

Mechanical life is rated for 5,000,000 flex cycles, allowing continuous dynamic service in moving cable systems. The cable requires a dynamic bend radius of 10 × D during movement and a static bend radius of 5 × D for fixed routing, so the sheath and conductors are not forced into overly tight loops. Its temperature range extends from -40 °C during storage or cold start to 80 °C under sustained load, which supports use in both low-temperature areas and warm control enclosures. Maintaining these bend limits also helps preserve conductor geometry and supports stable feedback transmission during repeated motion.

Factory-installed connectors simplify installation. Side A carries the RHS0005 motor plug, and side B uses the RHS0011 drive plug, which avoids field termination work at either end. The internal conductor arrangement follows the REH0800 raw cable design, and the assembly is categorized as a Hybrid Cable. Supplied in a ready-made format, the cable arrives cut and terminated, so it can be routed directly into cable chains and secured at the required mounting points. That format reduces preparation at the cabinet and motor ends and helps keep installation steps straightforward.
