The RKH0212 is a hybrid automation cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied in the RKH Hybrid Cables series. Designed for modern drive assemblies, this product combines motor power conductors with digital feedback pairs so a single run can connect servo controllers to matching motors and encoders. In machine tools and handling systems, the cable reduces installation complexity and frees cabinet space because the power and signal paths share one outer sheath. That arrangement also reduces the number of separate cable runs on moving axes, which helps keep drag-chain routing more organized in compact machine layouts.

This model is delivered in a preassembled state, so on-site termination work is limited to routing and clamping. It arrives with factory-mounted connectors: the drive-side plug is RHS0011, and the motor-side interface is RHS0016. Both connectors are molded on to help maintain shielding integrity during continuous motion. The cable withstands up to 5,000,000 flex cycles in an energy chain, and that duty is supported by a dynamic bending radius of 10 × D, which allows repeated movement without overstressing the conductors. This layout supports stable power delivery and reliable encoder communication during repeated axis travel.

A static bending radius of 5 × D applies when the cable remains fixed after installation, and the combined power and feedback layout helps keep signal interference low at bend points. Safe continuous operation is permitted from -40 °C to 80 °C, and the same temperature range applies during storage to help protect the jacket and insulation. The assembly is built as a hybrid cable, and it is supplied in a basic version for standard routing conditions. The single-sheath layout also leaves more room in cable carriers and helps keep routing near motor connections less crowded.
