RKH0021 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKH0021 hybrid cable is assembled by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKH Hybrid Cables series. This ready-connected cable combines power conductors and digital feedback cores in one sleeve so that servo motors and sensors can be linked to controllers with a single run. It also reduces the need to route separate motor and encoder cables through the same moving carrier. In automated handling modules and multi-axis gantries, the cable simplifies routing in energy chains and reduces panel space while maintaining electrical and mechanical compatibility for coordinated motion systems.

The mechanical duty rating permits up to 5,000,000 bending cycles when the cable is installed in continuous-flex tracks, indicating suitability for high-motion production cells. It is supplied in the Basic model configuration, so the sheath, shielding, and conductor cross-sections follow the standard layout used in the series. Because it is a Ready-Made assembly, the terminations are factory assembled, eliminating connector assembly during installation. During operation, the conductor bundle must observe a minimum dynamic loop of 8xD. Once fixed, the minimum static bend can be reduced to 4xD without risking strand fatigue.

Both ends are terminated with the same interface, and each side carries a Plug Connector RHS0021 so the pinout remains consistent along the run. The conductor insulation and outer jacket stay functional from -40 °C during storage or cold starts up to a service ceiling of 80 °C, allowing use near ovens, chillers, or outdoor gantries without additional thermal guards. Classified as a Hybrid Cable, the bundle routes motor power, encoder pairs, and protective earth through one coordinated harness. This layout reduces cable tray fill and keeps moving cable packages more compact in multi-axis machinery where space is limited.
