The RKG4201T010 is an encoder feedback cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKG Encoder Cables series. This preassembled lead forms the data path between Indramat high-resolution encoders and their drive controllers during motion sequencing. By maintaining shield integrity and mechanical flexibility, the cable allows position signals to be transmitted with low noise under continuous industrial duty. Its preassembled construction also reduces connection variability because both ends arrive ready for direct mating. Used in packaging lines, gantry axes, and other CNC work cells, the assembly limits electrical loss across long machine strokes and withstands repetitive routing in energy chains.

Its mechanical service life is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles during lateral movement in drag chains. When flexed, the orange sheath with a diameter of 8.8 mm resists cuts and oil because the bulk cable is INK0448 multi-core PUR cable. This arrangement helps maintain stable encoder communication where power cables and feedback cables share confined routing paths. A flame-retardant PUR jacket in RAL 2003 improves visibility inside the machine and resists coolant exposure. For stationary sections, the cable can be routed in a static loop with a minimum bend radius of 5 × D, and it can operate within an ambient range of -40 °C to 80 °C; the same range applies during storage.
