The RKG0053 is an industrial encoder cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKG Encoder Cables series. Designed for closed-loop drive systems, it links motor feedback devices to controller inputs so that position, speed, and diagnostic data travel with minimal signal loss. The cable is intended for dynamic routing in machines that use carrier tracks, allowing continuous flexing while preserving data integrity in packaging lines, gantry stages, and other automated equipment where precise motion coordination is required.

Its mechanical endurance is shown by a lifecycle rating of 5,000,000 alternating bends, indicating how many direction changes the conductors can withstand before fatigue is expected. In static installation, the cable may be bent to a minimum radius of 4 x D, while in continuous motion applications the minimum loop radius is 7.5 x D; these limits help protect the copper strands from excessive strain.
