The RKG0050 is an encoder cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKG Encoder Cables series. This flexible cable links rotary or linear encoders to drive controllers so position feedback can pass reliably across moving machine elements. Reinforced conductors inside a polyurethane jacket support repeated drag-chain motion in industrial automation environments where tight bend radii, chemical exposure, and temperature changes are common. That role is important on servo systems that rely on continuous encoder signals for accurate motion control and repeatable positioning.

Mechanical endurance is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles, allowing the cable to follow gantry axes through long-duty operation without early conductor fatigue. During movement, the outer sheath may flex to a 7.5 × D dynamic bending radius. Signal integrity is supported by identical terminations at both ends, and each side uses a Plug Connector RGS0002. Using the same connector style on both ends keeps the assembly format consistent across the full cable run.
