The Bosch Rexroth Indramat RKG0035 is an encoder cable in the RKG Encoder Cables series. It links motor-mounted position sensors to drive controllers and carries both signal and low-voltage supply cores in one flexible assembly. The cable is intended for continuously moving carrier chains and articulated robot joints, where stable feedback transmission is needed during repeated motion. By combining these functions in a single cable, it helps simplify routing inside automated tooling cells and machine frames.

Mechanical durability is supported by a service life of 5,000,000 bending cycles, which suits high-frequency motion without conductor breakage. A compact outer diameter of 10.0 mm keeps the cable manageable in narrow guide channels while still accommodating twisted pairs and shielding. When used in energy chains, the minimum bend radius is 7.5 x D; in stationary layouts, it can be reduced to 5 x D. These bend limits help reduce tensile stress on the copper strands during installation and repeated travel. The slim profile also helps the assembly pass through tight drag-chain compartments and around compact axis structures. The outer sheath is made of PUR, which supports oil resistance, abrasion resistance, and stable insulation behavior for encoder signal transmission.

The cable operates continuously from -30 to +80 °C, which allows use in both cold-storage equipment and warm production areas. Internal conductors may reach 80 °C before the insulation limit is reached, providing margin for temporary current peaks. A halogen-free jacket helps reduce corrosive gas formation during combustion. Power for the transducer electronics is supplied through a 2x1.0 mm² pair, while separate twisted pairs carry the differential feedback signals. Separating the supply pair from the feedback pairs helps the encoder signals remain clear while the sensor electronics receive stable low-voltage power. The cable also resists hydrolysis and silicone, which helps preserve flexibility during long-term motion.
