RKG0033 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKG0033 is an encoder feedback cable supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the RKG Encoder Cables series. Intended for drive and motor installations, the assembly carries differential encoder signals between a servo motor and a drive controller, providing accurate position information in automated machinery. It arrives as a complete harness that simplifies field wiring, shortens downtime, and supports modular retrofit work. The cable is suitable for installation on moving machine axes where repeated flexing and tight routing are common. It also serves as the signal path that allows the control system to monitor motor position during normal axis operation.

This assembly is a ready-made cable, so all terminations are completed at the factory and no on-site crimping or soldering is required. Its internal conductors correspond to bulk stock REG0013, a high-flex encoder cable matched to the electrical characteristics of standard Indramat measuring systems. At the motor side, the lead is fitted with connector INS0753, while the drive side uses connector INS0760; these keyed circular plugs help prevent reversal during service. Mechanical life is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles, supporting continuous travel inside cable carriers without conductor fatigue. For layout inside energy chains, the minimum dynamic bending radius is 7.5xD, and this sweep should be maintained while the machine is moving to avoid kinking. When the cable is clamped in a fixed route, the static radius can be tightened to 4xD, which helps conserve space inside a control cabinet. Service temperature can rise to 80 °C, and the assembly remains flexible after storage down to -40 °C. These limits support use on multi-axis packaging lines, pick-and-place gantries, and other high-cycle equipment.
