The RKB0038 is a flexible control cable in the RKB Control Cables series. It is intended for signal and low-power transmission between servo drives and field devices in automated machinery. By maintaining stable electrical performance under repeated movement, it supports coordinated motion control tasks and sensor feedback loops across gantries, robots, and conveyor modules. Its fine-stranded conductors and durable outer jacket help the cable remain reliable in drag chains and other articulated cable routes where constant flexing is expected. This makes it suitable for machine sections where control signals must pass through moving cable carriers without interruptions.

The cable is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles, allowing repeated motion in high-duty applications without excessive conductor fatigue. For stationary installation, a minimum 5 x D static bending radius helps limit stress on the insulation and keeps routing manageable inside fixed trays or cabinets. During continuous movement, the cable requires a 7.5 x D dynamic bending radius to reduce strain during flexing and support long travel paths. Both ends use an M12 connector, which matches common sensor and actuator connections in automated systems. The cable can operate at temperatures up to 80 °C without softening the jacket during normal use. It remains flexible during movement down to -30 °C, which supports operation in colder environments where repeated bending is still required. For storage, the temperature should not exceed 40 °C, and it should also not be kept below -30 °C for extended periods. This temperature range helps protect the insulation, maintain contact reliability, and support consistent performance after downtime or seasonal changes. Keeping the cable within these limits also helps reduce jacket embrittlement during long storage intervals.
