The MS2E06-D0BRN-EMUK2-NNNNS-G1 is a three-phase permanent-magnet servo motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the MS2E Synchronous Servomotors series. It converts drive current into accurately regulated rotary motion for positioning and speed-control duties in automated machinery. A multi-turn feedback system, a size-2 electrically released brake, and a shaft sealing ring are integrated so the motor can hold its load at power-off while continuously reporting absolute position to the motion controller. This arrangement allows the connected drive to recognize shaft position immediately after startup while maintaining controlled motion during indexing, transfer, and other repeatable axis movements.

At a nominal shaft speed of 4500 rpm, the motor supports high cycle-rate applications without reaching magnetic saturation. The brake supplies 15.00 Nm of static torque, preventing downward drift on vertical axes during standby. Its housing carries a protection rating of IP65, and the additional shaft seal helps block coolant and dust from entering the bearing chamber. Continuous duty is supported between 0 to 40 °C, with heat removed by the self-cooling aluminum housing. The multi-turn encoder records 4096 absolute revolutions, allowing homing-free startup and reliable position tracking after a power interruption. A PT1000 sensor inside the winding sends temperature data to the drive for thermal monitoring and overload protection.

Mechanical mounting follows IEC B5 / IM3001 dimensions. The centering collar measures 95 mm, the flange measures 116 mm, and the bolt circle spans 130 mm. Mounting holes are 9 mm in diameter, allowing direct use of standard M8 hardware. Low rotor inertia supports rapid acceleration profiles, while deep-groove ball bearings carry the radial and axial loads created during keyed shaft transmission. The motor is ATEX compliant for use in designated explosive atmospheres, and its RAL 9005 varnish coating resists oil and moisture. Operation is permitted up to 1,000 m above sea level without a change in electrical ratings.
