The MS2E04-B0BNN-CMSK1-NNNNN-NN is a three-phase permanent-magnet servomotor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MS2E Synchronous Servomotors series. In automated production lines, this motor drives axes that demand accurate velocity and position control, interfacing directly with Rexroth drive controllers through its single-cable connector. A low-inertia rotor combined with a multi-turn feedback device allows rapid indexing and coordinated motion in packaging, handling, and assembly cells.

Its mechanical output reaches 3000 rpm at rated conditions, enabling consistent servo performance at that speed. The electrically released brake supplies 5.00 Nm of static holding torque to secure vertical or torque-sensitive axes during power-off states. Position feedback is provided by an Advanced Performance ACUROlink multi-turn encoder that offers 20-bit resolution per revolution. To resist dust and water jets, the sealed housing carries an IP65 protection rating, and the motor is ATEX compliant for use in areas that require ignition protection. Standard deep-groove ball bearings support the shaft, while the 82 mm B5 flange with standard accuracy includes a 50 mm centering collar, a 95 mm bolt circle, and 6.6 mm mounting holes that follow IM3001 geometry. A keyed shaft with a sealing ring transmits torque to couplings.

The encoder stores up to 4096 absolute revolutions, eliminating external homing after power cycles. Thermal management depends on self-cooling, aided by the RAL 9005 varnished surface that radiates heat. Full torque is available from 0 to 40 °C, and performance remains unchanged up to an elevation of 0 to 1,000 m above sea level. A rotatable M23 single-cable connector carries power, brake, and data, reducing cabinet wiring. The built-in PT1000 sensor reports winding temperature so the drive can respond before overload occurs. Inside the size-04, frame-length-B housing, a low-inertia rotor minimizes acceleration times for pick-and-place modules, and the mounting standard keeps alignment straightforward during machine integration.
