These motors are typically used for torque direction and control circuit conditioning. The motor's rotor position controls the current flow to the three stator windings, aligning the stator current with the rotor's magnetic flux. A current controller linked to a directional current controller regulates the motor current, allowing for precise control over all three stator windings.
