The KDA Main Spindle Drive Series, manufactured by Indramat Rexroth, is designed to work with 2AD asynchronous motors and 1MB frameless spindle motors that produce a continuous output of 3-22kW at the shaft. This drive series stands out for its high stiffness, precise positioning capabilities, and wide speed range with continuous power, making it well-suited for use as a spindle drive and for C-axis positioning. A microcomputer within the drive controls and monitors its operation. With a speed control range of 0.0005 rpm, the KDA Main Spindle Drive offers high-quality C-axis operation. The drive utilizes SERCOS interface for all components.
