The Bosch Rexroth Indramat MultiMediaCard (MMC) is a storage medium that can be inserted into a corresponding device's slot. MMCs store firmware, parameters, and files such as programs and user-related documents. Rexroth MMCs are optional equipment that can be either stationary or temporary. Stationary MMCs are permanent and cannot be removed, typically used as programming modules. Temporary MMCs are removable and can be used to update firmware, transfer, save, and reestablish parameters. Only Bosch Rexroth-approved MMCs are compatible with Bosch Rexroth products.
