The IKS0077 is an encoder interconnect manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the IKS Encoder Cables series. The assembly links motor-mounted feedback devices to drive controllers, carrying position data and auxiliary control lines required for closed-loop regulation in automated conveyors, packaging stations, and multi-axis machine tools. By combining feedback and support conductors in one harness, the cable helps reduce routing complexity between the motor and the control cabinet. It is intended for installations where stable encoder transmission is necessary for synchronized axis response and repeatable positioning during motion.

For controller-side termination, the cable is fitted with a 25-pin D-Sub screw connector, while the motor encoder end uses a 9-pin D-Sub screw connector. The screw-secured interfaces help keep both ends seated during vibration and repeated machine movement. The conductor insulation is rated for 300 V, which suits the differential signal pairs and auxiliary supply lines commonly used in feedback circuits. Designed for continuous motion, the cable withstands 5,000,000 bending cycles in drag-chain service. During dynamic travel, a minimum loop radius of 10 × D reduces mechanical strain on the copper strands and outer jacket.

A tinned-copper braid surrounds the twisted pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference that could affect low-level feedback signals, and the assembly has a dielectric withstand of 500 V.
