The IKG4215 belongs to the IKG Motor Power Cables series produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It is a hybrid power and control cable intended for use between Indramat servo drives and synchronous motors in industrial automation applications such as handling systems, packaging equipment, and transfer axes. Within a single sheath, it carries three-phase motor power plus paired signal conductors, which reduces cabinet space, simplifies drag-chain routing, and keeps power and auxiliary circuits organized along the same machine run.

The cable is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles in an energy chain before flex fatigue becomes critical in repetitive motion service. An outer diameter of 18.5 mm keeps the bundle compact enough for tight machine housings while still accommodating shielding and drain wires. It supports a maximum fixed temperature of 90 °C, allowing installation near transformers or inside warm control cabinets without shortening service life under stationary routing. During continuous motion, the cable requires a minimum bend radius of 7.5 x D to avoid kinking, protect the shield structure, and preserve consistent flex performance in moving machine axes.
