The IKG4161 cable is a motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the IKG Motor Power Cables series. Designed for servo axes and spindle drives, it links the drive controller to the machine-mounted motor while carrying auxiliary control lines in the same sheath. The cable supports industrial automation tasks that require consistent power delivery and integrated auxiliary wiring. By combining motor power and control conductors in one assembly, it reduces the need for separate cable runs between the cabinet and the axis.

Inside the INK0605 bulk cable build, three power cores with a cross-section of 10.0 mm² work in parallel with smaller control pairs. This conductor size limits resistive loss to 1.91 ?/km, which helps keep voltage drop low over typical machine runs. Both the power and control conductors are rated for 600 V AC, so one cable can handle mains switching and brake release circuits without separate routing. A halogen-free PUR jacket shields the cores against oils and coolant splash while supporting continuous drag-chain travel. The cable exhibits a mutual capacitance of 1.0 nF/m, which affects drive output filter selection and allowable cable length between the INS0382/C10 controller plug and the motor.

In static routing, the minimum bend radius is 5 × D, while moving-chain applications use a larger limit of 7.5 × D to reduce conductor fatigue. Continuous conductor temperature may reach +90 °C in fixed installations and +80 °C during dynamic motion, matching the limits of the PUR insulation system. The cable terminates with the INS0381/C10 angled motor connector and the INS0382/C10 straight controller connector, providing keyed metal shells for secure engagement. The angled motor connector can help where cable exit space is limited near guards or housings. The straight controller connector supports direct routing inside the cabinet without adding extra cable adapters.
