IKG4155 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The IKG4155 cable assembly is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the IKG Motor Power Cables series. It is a factory-terminated hybrid cable that carries mains power and control conductors between an Indramat servo motor and its drive controller. By integrating the motor-end connector, the controller plug, and the bundled conductors in one PUR jacket, the product reduces panel wiring effort, helps preserve signal integrity, and supports organized cable routing in automated production equipment. Its hybrid layout keeps power and auxiliary wiring in one assembly, which helps reduce the number of separate cable runs between the cabinet and the motor.

The power cores are rated for 600 V AC and use a cross-section of 6.0 mm², giving ample ampacity for medium-frame synchronous motors. Copper conductor resistance is 3.30 ?/km, which helps limit voltage drop on long axis runs. At the drive side, the cable is fitted with a RLS0723/K06 circular connector, while the motor side terminates in an INS0381/C06 plug; both ends are crimped to provide low-impedance, vibration-resistant joints. Three power contacts plus the protective earth are supplemented by shielded control pairs so the drive can enable the motor, monitor temperature sensors, and engage the brake without separate cords. This arrangement supports combined transmission of motor supply and low-level control signals while keeping the installation footprint compact.

The motor connector includes 7 control contacts for auxiliary functions. Contacts 5 and 6 use a cross-section of 1.0 mm², while contacts 7 and 8 use 1.5 mm² for higher auxiliary currents such as brake release. The outer sheath uses PUR material, which provides abrasion resistance and oil tolerance for continuous-flex chains, and the orange RAL 2003 color improves visibility in crowded machine interiors. The flexible jacket also helps the cable move cleanly through carriers and around changing bend points during repetitive axis travel. Bulk cable code INK0604 and drag-chain approval support high-cycle transverse bending in gantry axes.
