The IKG4145 motor power cable is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the IKG Motor Power Cables series. It is intended for three-phase power delivery between servo drives and motors in industrial automation cells, providing integrated ground and control conductors so that moving axes receive both energy and basic signaling over a single harness. The core circuit is built with 4x1.0 mm² phase conductors and a dedicated 1.0 mm² PE core, all wrapped by a copper braid with Total Shield coverage against emitted or coupled noise. Conductor insulation and the outer sheath tolerate ambient and self-heating up to +80 °C, permitting installation near braking resistors or spindle housings that radiate heat. An auxiliary quartet of 0.75 mm² wires is present for motor brakes or temperature sensors, eliminating the need for a parallel feedback umbilical.

Flexible service is supported by a dynamic bend radius of 7.5xD, compared with 5xD in fixed routing, so the cable can fold cleanly through small-pitch carriers. The outer jacket is molded from PUR, providing abrasion, oil, and coolant resistance, and it terminates through an EMC gland with a thread size of M25 × 1.5 to maintain shield continuity at panel entry. A matte, low-adhesion surface prevents chip buildup, and the high-visibility Orange (RAL 2003) color aids line-side identification. The compound is halogen-free and silicone-free, which reduces corrosive gas formation during fire events and helps avoid paint-wetting defects in finishing zones.
