Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the IKG4140 motor power cable within its IKG Motor Power Cables series. It serves to route three-phase drive output and auxiliary signals between a Rexroth controller and the paired motor in industrial automation cells. The combined wiring simplifies panel layout and maintains predictable electrical behavior over the full cable length, supporting stable current delivery, reliable feedback paths, and electromagnetic compatibility in dynamic machine tools and material-handling systems.

The cable core is arranged as 4x1.5 + 2x(2x0.75) mm², meaning four power conductors sized at 1.5 mm² and two paired control circuits each at 0.75 mm². This structure keeps motor phase currents separate from encoder or brake lines while minimizing overall diameter. The outer dimension is 12.2 mm, allowing dense routing in multi-axis chains. Copper resistance measures 13.3 ?/km at 20 °C, so voltage drop remains low on typical machine lengths. Factory termination on the controller end uses connector set RLS0722/K02, ensuring pin assignment that matches Rexroth drive outputs. For permanently installed runs, the conductors can operate continuously up to 90 °C without insulation degradation.

A matte PUR jacket provides abrasion resistance and remains free of adhesive buildup when the cable is installed alongside lubricants or coolants. During reciprocating motion, the assembly tolerates a minimum bending radius of 7.5 × D, which allows use in energy-chain and drag-chain applications. Under flexible duty the conductor temperature limit is 80 °C, giving an adequate margin for drive cycles that produce intermittent current peaks. The motor side is equipped with an INS0481/C02 connector so the harness mates directly to Rexroth servo housings, eliminating field crimping and reducing installation time.
