IKG4136 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The IKG4136 motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat belongs to the IKG Motor Power Cables series. It links IndraDrive controllers to synchronous servo motors in automated machinery, carrying three-phase power and auxiliary control signals in one assembly. The cable is intended for fixed routing or moderate chain applications inside electrical cabinets or along moving axes, supporting coordinated power transmission between the drive and the motor in industrial automation cells. By combining power and auxiliary conductors in one jacket, it supports compact cable routing where cabinet space and axis travel are limited.

Bulk cable type INK0604 is used for the conductor and insulation geometry shared with other IKG variants. The assembly supports up to 600 V AC on the power cores, enabling direct connection to standard IndraDrive inverter outputs. Four power conductors sized 4x 6.0 mm² help minimize voltage drop over typical machine lengths, while a conductor resistance of 3.30 ohms/km indicates copper losses during continuous current flow. For permanently installed runs, the cable can tolerate a core temperature of +90 °C, whereas cyclic flexing applications are limited to +80 °C. Two screened control pairs rated at 1.0 mm² and 1.5 mm² carry brake release or sensor lines, and an additional 1.5 mm² contact provides protective earth continuity.

The comprehensive electromagnetic barrier is provided by the Total Shield foil-braid combination, which suppresses drive-generated switching noise. A tough PUR outer jacket in RAL 2003 (orange) resists coolants and abrasion, making the cable suitable for drag-chain radii set by the bulk design. Interface hardware is standardized, and the drive side terminates with the RLS0721/K06 hybrid connector. The motor end uses the INS0381/C06 plug to mate directly with compatible Indramat motor housings. This connector arrangement supports direct mating with matching drive and motor interfaces without separate adapter leads.
