IKG4119 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The IKG4119 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the IKG Motor Power Cables series. This preassembled cable links IndraDrive controllers to servo motors, carrying phase power and control signals in automated machines. Its role is to maintain reliable energy delivery and signal continuity between moving axes and stationary cabinets during drag-chain operation. Because it arrives as a finished assembly, it helps keep routing consistent where repeated motion and limited cabinet space are common.

The cable core is rated for 5,000,000 dynamic bending cycles, so it remains electrically stable during prolonged carrier motion. It is built on INK0653 bulk cable, which is the base cable used for this assembly. Two twisted-pair signal conductors with a cross-section of 2x(2x0.75 mm²) are placed beside the power cores to carry temperature or brake lines. At the controller end, a molded RLS0722 connector locks to IndraDrive output terminals and supports secure connection in machine cabinets. External abrasion and oil exposure are resisted by the PUR outer jacket, which also supports the flexibility needed for repeated motion. This jacket is well suited for cable carriers where sliding contact and frequent bending can wear less durable materials.

Conductor heating is capped at 80 °C, allowing continuous current flow within drive ratings. For fixed installation, routing must respect a bend radius of 5 x D to help protect the shield and conductor bundle, while dynamic drag-chain movement requires a larger radius of 7.5 x D. The power cores support drive outputs up to 300/500 V, and the finished cable keeps an overall diameter of 12.0 mm for use in compact routing paths. A crimped INS0681 connector mates to the motor housing, and the total shield around the phase conductors helps limit electromagnetic noise in multi-axis systems. This layout supports stable power transfer while keeping auxiliary lines integrated within the same moving cable.
