IKG4115 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The IKG4115 is a motor power cable supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the IKG Motor Power Cables series. It links drive controllers to motors so that power and control signals reach the actuator without interruption in industrial automation lines. The cable carries separate power cores and twisted control pairs, allowing simultaneous transmission of motor power and auxiliary signals while helping reduce electromagnetic interference. It is intended for continuous-motion installations such as cable tracks and articulated handling equipment, where repeated flexing and stable electrical performance are required.

At the core of the design is a 4x1.5 mm² + 2x(2x0.75 mm²) conductor layout. Four equal conductors carry motor phase current, while two double-twisted pairs carry brake or sensor signals on separate circuits. The cable uses bulk designation INK0650 for spool deliveries, and the conductor arrangement results in a resistance of 13.3 ?/km at 20 °C. A PUR outer sheath protects the bundle and keeps the overall diameter at 12.2 mm, which helps maintain predictable routing space in machine ducts and cable carriers. For dynamic service, the cable is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles without loss of insulation integrity.

The phase cores are rated for up to 300/500 V, while the auxiliary pairs are rated for 300/300 V, allowing one cable to carry both power and low-level control circuits. Safe operation is supported at moving conductor temperatures up to 80 °C and at rest up to 90 °C, which suits cabinet-mounted and gantry-mounted systems. The motor end uses an INS0481/C02 angled plug, and the controller end uses an RLS0721/K02 circular connector. A halogen-free insulation system helps limit corrosive gas release during a fire, and the preassembled ends simplify installation by avoiding field termination.
