The IKG4056 power cable is a ready-made assembly produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the IKG Motor Power Cables series. It is supplied as a pre-terminated motor lead that links a drive controller to a servomotor, carrying three-phase power and protective earth without additional field crimping. Because the assembly arrives finished, the shielding and ground path remain uniform from the drive to the motor, which supports cleaner power delivery and reduces variation between installations. In automated machinery, this cable shortens installation time and keeps conductor routing consistent, which helps preserve stable electrical performance during repetitive axis motion.

Internally, the cable uses the core design INK0669, which provides the conductor arrangement and insulation build used for this assembly. An abrasion-resistant outer jacket of PUR resists oils and coolants commonly found in machining cells and other industrial equipment. During motion, the cable requires a minimum bend radius of 10×D, and fixed routing allows a tighter radius of 6×D without stressing the cores. The cable has a nominal rating of 600 V, and it remains suitable for moving applications across an ambient range of -30 to +60 °C. This combination is useful on moving axes where repeated flexing, drag-chain travel, and exposure to industrial fluids are expected.

For applications with higher electrical stress on the supply conductors, the cable is approved for service up to 600/1000 V, making it suitable for use with drives connected to different mains groups. The power cores are insulated for a test voltage of 4000 V, while the integrated signal pair uses a 500 V level that suits auxiliary circuits routed with the main conductors. In fixed installations, the permissible ambient range extends to -50 to +80 °C, which supports use in outdoor cabinets or freezer lines where the jacket must remain intact. The separate signal pair and standardized color coding also make conductor identification clearer when the cable is integrated into larger machine harnesses.
