The IKG4013 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the IKG Motor Power Cables series. Designed for servo-axis installations, the cable carries motor power and auxiliary control pairs through dynamic drag-chain paths found in automated assembly lines and machine tools. It links drive controllers with synchronous motors across short or extended carrier runs.

Its core layout follows a 4x1.0 + 2x(2x0.75) mm² pattern, separating motor phases from paired control conductors used for brake or temperature functions. The PUR outer jacket is adhesion-free, so chips and coolants do not stick during machining. For repetitive motion stages, the cable endures 5,000,000 bending cycles and remains suitable for travel speeds up to 5 m/s. A nominal diameter of 12.0 mm simplifies routing through standard cable carriers, while capacitance of 0.6 nF/m and conductor resistance of 19.5 ?/km help size compatible drives for displacement current and voltage drop. The cable is drag-chain compatible for continuous flex applications. When installed in a fixed run, the copper can reach a maximum temperature of +90 °C without degrading insulation.

For layout planning, the minimum bend radius is 5 × D in static trays and 7.5 × D in moving chains, preserving conductor geometry during motion. Each power core has a cross-sectional area of 1.0 mm², sized for currents associated with compact servo motors, while the control pairs share the overall sheath. Insulation withstands 300/300 V on sensing circuits and 300/500 V on the power cores, giving one cable enough margin for typical 24 V brake lines and low-voltage motor phases driven by inverter outputs. Under continuous flex, the permissible conductor temperature falls to +80 °C, matching the thermal rating of the PUR jacket and maintaining dielectric integrity across long production shifts.
