The IKG4006 cable is a motor power lead produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the IKG Motor Power Cables series. It links a drive controller to a moving or stationary motor so that three-phase power and auxiliary signals reach the machine axis without interruption. In automated gantries, pick-and-place heads, and packaging lines, the cable withstands constant flexing while preserving the signal quality closed-loop servos need for accurate positioning. Its combined conductors let one cable support the axis during continuous motion without adding separate runs for common auxiliary functions.

This model is rated for up to 600 V AC, allowing direct connection to standard servo inverters. Each of its three copper cores has a cross-section of 1.0 mm², a size that balances current capacity with easy routing through tight carriers. Line-to-shield capacitance is held to 0.6 nF/m, which helps limit reactive current at the drive output. The PUR sheath brings the overall diameter to 12.0 mm, so the cable fits common chain separators and grommets used in compact machine layouts. Mechanical service life reaches 5 million flex cycles, and the cable is drag-chain compatible, so repeated motion can occur without excessive jacket wear or insulation cracking at the permitted bend radius.

Conductor resistance is 19.5 Ohm/km at 20 °C, which helps estimate voltage drop and thermal loading in long machine runs. Two twisted pairs sized 2x(2x0.75) mm² are embedded beside the power cores to carry brake-release or sensor signals without separate cabling. The jacket compound is halogen-free, so it emits no corrosive gases during a fire, and its RAL 2003 orange color keeps the cable easy to identify in crowded cabinets and machine frames. The paired auxiliary conductors stay separated from the motor power cores, which helps maintain clean signal transmission during repeated axis movement.
