IKG0332 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The IKG0332 is a flexible motor power cable from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the IKG Motor Power Cables series. Intended for servo and spindle connections in automated machinery, the cable delivers power and auxiliary control signals from the drive controller to the motor while tolerating continuous motion inside energy-supply chains. The design uses four power cores with two smaller signal cores and terminates in an INS0751 motor plug and an INS0757 drive-side plug, allowing direct integration with compatible Rexroth drive packages.

Mechanical endurance is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles when the cable is installed in a drag chain. The primary power group consists of 4x0.75 mm² copper conductors, a cross-section suited for modest motor currents without excess heating. The cable has an overall diameter of 10.0 mm, which helps with clamp selection and conduit sizing. External insulation uses a PUR jacket that withstands oil and coolant exposure better than PVC and remains flexible at typical plant temperatures. Its surface color is RAL 2003 (orange), which follows common industry coding for energized movable cables and improves visibility along cable runs. Continuous conductor operation is permitted up to 80 °C, which limits allowable current and ambient heat in the cable tray.

Signal transmission is handled by two shielded control cores rated at 2x0.5 mm², allowing brake release or temperature sensor lines to share the same cable as the motor phases. Installation constraints include a minimum fixed routing radius of 5 x D, so rigid cabinet entries can be planned without stressing the jacket, and a dynamic radius of 7.5 x D for continuously moving sections inside the drag chain. Its drag-chain design allows the cable to flex repeatedly while maintaining stable electrical performance in multi-axis gantries and pick-and-place modules.
