IKG0330 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The IKG0330 is a flexible motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the IKG Motor Power Cables series. It is designed to transmit drive power and low-level control signals to synchronous and induction motors installed on moving axes of automated machinery. The cable's mechanical layout supports frequent bending in drag chains, so it can follow linear carriages or gantry heads without creating electrical noise or excessive voltage drop along the run. This makes it suitable for motion-based equipment where the cable must move continuously with the axis.

Mechanical endurance is supported by a service life of 5,000,000 cycles, meaning the conductors can flex repeatedly before fatigue becomes a concern. The fine-wire bundle uses Class 6 conductor construction, so each strand is thin enough to support tight radii without strand breakage. Four power cores sized 4 x 0.75 mm² deliver three-phase voltage up to 600 V AC, while a green-yellow protective conductor maintains ground continuity. A total shield of tinned copper braid surrounds the cores and helps limit electromagnetic emissions in servo applications. The cable has an overall diameter of 10.0 mm, which allows compact routing in cable trays and carriers. Its orange RAL 2003 jacket is made of PUR, providing abrasion resistance and oil tolerance for repeated motion.

Two signal pairs sized 2 x 0.5 mm² are integrated for brakes or temperature sensors and are insulated separately from the power group. Continuous conductor temperature is permitted up to 80 °C, so the cable can run near warm motor housings without reducing the 300 V control circuit rating. The minimum bend radius is 5 x D when the cable is fixed and 7.5 x D during dynamic motion, which helps protect the PUR jacket and shielding. The auxiliary cores have a 300 V control rating, so they can be routed alongside the higher-voltage conductors in the same cable.
