The IKG0301 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the IKG Motor Power Cables series. In automated cells, it links drive amplifiers to servo motors, carrying both supply current and return signal pairs so that cabinet space is saved and installation time is reduced. The cable's construction is intended for continuous motion in energy chains, letting machinery cycle without electrical interruption or premature conductor fatigue.

The cable core uses Class 6 finely stranded conductors that bend easily while maintaining low resistance. A tinned-copper braid provides overall shielding to limit electromagnetic noise that could disturb encoder or brake lines. The jacket is made from PUR, a thermoplastic polyurethane that resists oils and abrasion, and it is colored orange for clear identification in mixed cable trays. Rated insulation supports a power circuit of 600/1000 V and a separate signal pair of 300 V, allowing the same run to feed motor windings and feedback devices. Factory-terminated plugs from connector set INS0542-INK0653-INS0110 remove the need for field soldering. Dielectric strength is confirmed by 4 kV testing on the power cores and 500 V testing on the signal cores, ensuring insulation integrity after repetitive motion and thermal cycling.

In gliding-chain applications, the minimum bend radius is 7.5 × OD. During free flexing, it should be 10 × OD, and for fixed mounting, 6 × OD helps prevent conductor kinking. The cable remains pliable while flexing up to +60 °C and endures static runs at +80 °C. Operation continues down to -30 °C during motion, while storage or static positioning is permissible to -50 °C. The cable is intended for gantries, palletizers, and other equipment that requires frequent acceleration in temperature-controlled or unconditioned production areas.
