IKG0210 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The IKG0210 is a motor power cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the IKG Motor Power Cables series. It is used for power transmission in industrial automation, carrying energy from a drive controller to a servo motor during normal machine operation. The assembly uses an AEH-to-RKS connector pairing, so the cabinet-side plug connects directly with the motor-side receptacle. This arrangement supports straightforward cable routing on machines with moving axes, where a dedicated motor cable helps keep the power connection consistent through repeated motion.

The cable supports a nominal voltage of 600/1000 V, indicating 600 V to ground and 1000 V between conductors under normal service conditions. During dielectric testing, the power cores withstood 4000 V for one minute, while the internal signal cores were rated at 500 V, helping maintain electrical separation between the power bundle and auxiliary circuits. Thermal limits differ between moving and fixed use, with the PUR jacket remaining flexible up to +60 °C during continuous motion and fixed sections tolerating higher static heat. At low temperatures, the cable can remain stationary down to −50 °C and still stay suitable for bending in colder environments without becoming overly rigid.

Mechanical routing parameters include a minimum bend radius of 10× cable OD during flexing cycles and 6× cable OD for static runs, so drag chains and cable trays can be sized appropriately. The outer jacket is made of PUR, which provides abrasion resistance and helps protect the cable against coolants in industrial environments. Shielding is provided by a tinned copper braid, which helps reduce electromagnetic interference around drives, motors, and nearby control wiring. The bright orange sheath also improves visual identification inside control cabinets and along moving machine sections.
