IKG0123 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The IKG0123 ready-made power cable is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the IKG Motor Power Cables series. It is intended to supply three-phase power from a drive to a motor in automated machinery. Because the assembly arrives with finished terminations, installation only requires mating the connectors and securing the cable. A braided shield is built into the cable to reduce radiated electrical noise that could interfere with nearby feedback lines or sensors.

For dynamic routing in energy-chain systems, the cable uses IEC 60228 Class 5 finely stranded conductors that withstand more than 5,000,000 bending cycles without wire breakage. During motion, the jacket can flex to a minimum chain radius of 7.5 × OD, which supports repeated travel in moving cable carriers. Dynamic service is supported across a flexing temperature range from -40 °C to +90 °C. The copper cores are rated for 600/1000 V, which suits the three-phase output of typical low-voltage servo drives. Protective earth and the phase conductors are routed together in one cable so current paths stay compact and electrical losses remain low.

For fixed installation in cabinets or cable trays, the minimum bend radius is 4 × OD, allowing tighter routing where the cable no longer moves. Installation is permitted at temperatures as low as -50 °C, which supports handling and routing in cold conditions before operation. The outer sheath is made of PUR, giving the cable abrasion resistance, oil tolerance, and halogen-free performance. A factory-crimped INS0172-INK0605-INS0217 connector set provides direct coupling to compatible Rexroth drive and motor terminals. The molded jacket also helps protect the internal conductors where the cable passes through guides, trays, and machine openings.
