IKG0112 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The IKG0112 is a flexible motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the IKG Motor Power Cables series. It is used to route motor power and auxiliary control signals between servo drives and synchronous motors in automated handling, packaging, and machining equipment. The cable is intended for moving-axis installations where repeated bending is expected, so it helps maintain stable electrical transmission while the machine operates through continuous motion cycles. Its flexible construction also supports routing through cable carriers without adding unnecessary stiffness to the moving harness.

The cable is built for continuous flex service and can withstand up to 5,000,000 carrier cycles. Its outside diameter of 18.5 mm supports routing through common carrier systems while keeping the assembly manageable in confined machine spaces. The orange PUR outer jacket is adhesion-free and matte, which helps resist abrasion and exposure to industrial oils during regular operation. For stationary installation, the minimum bend radius is 5 x D. During dynamic motion, the minimum bend radius is 7.5 x D to reduce stress on the conductors during repeated flexing. Fixed sections of the cable can tolerate temperatures up to +90 °C, which supports installation near motors and other warm equipment.

The electrical design uses 4 x 6.0 mm² conductors for motor power and 2 x 1.0 mm² + 2 x 1.5 mm² conductors for auxiliary circuits. The power cores are rated for up to 600 VAC, making the cable suitable for common industrial servo systems. Loop resistance is limited to 3.30 Ohm/km, which helps reduce voltage loss over longer cable runs. In moving applications, the flexible sections can operate continuously at +80 °C without additional cooling measures. This combination of conductor layout, insulation performance, and flex capability supports reliable power delivery and signal continuity in machines with frequent axis movement.
