The IKG0070 cable is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the IKG Motor Power Cables series. It is a flexible motor supply line intended to link Indramat servo drives to synchronous motors in automated machinery. The design focuses on continuous motion applications, providing separate conductors for power and control signals inside a single outer jacket so one assembly can be routed instead of two. Its electrical and mechanical characteristics are tuned for use in moving cable carriers common to assembly lines and gantry systems.

Bending cycles for the cable reach 5 million, indicating how many flex cycles it can withstand in an energy chain before conductor fatigue occurs. The internal layout follows a 4x0.75 + 2x0.5 mm² pattern, so four conductors carry motor phases while two smaller cores handle control functions. A wear-resistant PUR sheath guards the bundle against abrasion and coolants, and the overall diameter is 10.0 mm, which eases routing through tight channels. The insulation tolerates conductor temperatures up to 80 °C; beyond that value, mechanical and dielectric properties decline. The cable is approved for drag-chain motion but not for combined bending with torsion, so rotary axes need a different lead. The 0.5 mm² control wires support encoder or brake circuits where current is low.

Electrical separation inside the sheath assigns different voltage classes: power conductors are rated for 300/500 V, and the auxiliary pair is rated for 300/300 V. This distinction supports proper fuse and insulation selection. The jacket is colored RAL 2003 orange, keeping cable runs visible during service. Each phase core has a 0.75 mm² cross-section, supplying adequate current for small and midsize servomotors without adding bulk. The integrated auxiliary pair reduces the need for a separate low-current cable.
