IKG0006 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The IKG0006 is a flexible motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the IKG Motor Power Cables series. Designed for dynamic routing between servo drives and moving axes, the cable transmits three-phase power and auxiliary signals while withstanding repetitive motion in drag-chain environments. It is intended for servo systems that need continuous flexing between a stationary drive and a moving motor connection. In automated assembly lines or gantry systems, it supplies power to motors and carries auxiliary signals through a polyurethane outer jacket that resists oil, abrasion, and moderate coolant splashes during continuous industrial operation.

The cable supports 5,000,000 bending cycles, so it can move that many times in a drag chain before mechanical fatigue becomes critical. Its copper cores have a resistance of 19.5 ?/km, which helps limit voltage drop over typical machine lengths. With a distributed capacitance of 0.6 nF/m, drive output filters do not experience excessive reactive loading. The insulation system is rated for 600 V AC, matching common servo inverter outputs. A compact 12.0 mm overall diameter simplifies routing through tight cable channels without exceeding bend-radius guidelines.

Four equally sized power cores are arranged as 4x1.0 mm², giving adequate ampacity for low-power servomotor loads while keeping mass light. Integrated signal wiring is provided through 2x(2x0.75 mm²) control pairs, allowing brake or encoder supply lines to follow the same motion path. The sheath is PUR with an adhesion-free matte finish, and its bright RAL 2003 (orange) color improves visibility along cable runs. When flexed, the cable remains serviceable up to 80 °C, whereas fixed installation can tolerate 90 °C. This layout keeps power and auxiliary conductors within one moving cable assembly.
