The Rexroth Indramat HVE is a power supply unit within the DIAX04 modular AC drive system family. It utilizes an unregulated DC bus voltage, with usable power dependent on the specific unit. The HVE supply units come in four nominal voltages: 380V, 400V, 440V, and 480V. One of its key features is its ability to power multiple drives and controls from a single connection, making it a convenient option for applications such as printing and packaging machines, machine tools, and food handling machines. Unlike some other power supplies, the HVE modules use a bleeder to absorb energy instead of regenerating it.
