The Rexroth Indramat DDC series is a range of fully digital AC drives that are brushless, three-phase, and microprocessor-controlled. These drives offer precision servo control options and are dynamic in their operation. The DDC series enables digital monitoring, control, parameterization, and diagnosis of Indramat motors through rotor position measurements. The units are highly customizable, typically consisting of a DLC single-axis positioning module, software module, and optional auxiliary plug-in module. These additional cards provide extra interfaces and options to enhance the drive's capabilities. As the core function of the DDC is as a DC bus converter and bleeder resistor, when installing the device, it's essential to position the motor feedback cable and optional plug-ins to ensure unobstructed airflow into and out of the motor.
