The CFL Module Series, manufactured by Rexroth Indramat, requires a battery to be inserted and will automatically activate when first commissioned. The battery buffers data from the storage module for several years, and the control software monitors its level, sending a warning if it decreases. The CFL Module's LED display provides visual indicators for various status conditions, including short-circuits, overload, availability of supply voltage, and absence of control supply voltage. The series utilizes various firmwares, including SRAM, DeviceNet Master, Profibus DP Master, SERCOS III, Fast I/O, and Cross Communication.
