The X20DC1198 module from B & R Automation is part of the X20 Fieldbus Input Output Series. Designed for precision, it features a 32-bit counter size and supports a maximum transfer rate of 1 Mbit/s. It accommodates 1 SSI absolute encoder input with input voltage of 5 V and provides encoder power supply voltage options of 5 VDC ~5% and 24 VDC. With electrical isolation between bus and encoder or channel at 500 V and a nominal voltage of digital inputs at 24 VDC, this module ensures reliable performance.
