The ECPAD1-0 is an adapter developed by B & R Automation. As a part of the ECP Multi Control Series, it features a communications protocol using RS232/TTY. The wired interface supports data rates up to 19.2 kbps. It can be mounted via DIN rail or panel, and weighs approximately 100 grams.
