Its rotor reaches a nominal velocity of 1500 rpm, allowing the control loop to match common line speeds and gearbox ratios. Mechanical positioning error does not exceed 10 angular minutes, which helps maintain repeatable motion on conveyor, transfer, and indexing applications. Thermal management relies on a self-cooling aluminum housing that dissipates loss power without external fans, reducing the need for added airflow hardware around the motor. Service cabling is simplified by a built-in double angular connector that can swivel to suit different installation directions and preserve practical bend radii. Rotor position is reported through a resolver, providing analog sine-cosine feedback that remains stable in electrically noisy environments and at elevated operating temperatures.

For static load holding, an internal brake provides 2.2 Nm of torque when the drive is disabled. Field wiring is split between motor power and feedback by the motor's separated encoder and power cabling, which helps limit signal interference during long cable runs and repeated motion. The output end uses a smooth shaft, making it suitable for compression couplings or timing hubs that do not require a keyway. The motor has an active length of 3 and a frame of size 2, which helps when planning space in compact multi-axis assemblies. The RE-15-1-J04 sensing stack is included, and the motor is built without an oil seal.
